Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author as well as a model and actress. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. She began working as a photography assistant and after that she moved on to acting and modeling. The first two films she made were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, MacGraw was ranked as the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. The other films she has appeared on are The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw's been married three different times.
