Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions until she made it big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. Within the same calendar year she released her first music album called This is Tina Time. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This film became hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway as a somber character to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she has also become a renowned director of popular television series like Supernatural and The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965 in Essex. At the age of three, her family relocated her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
