April Bowlby has been an American actor and model for over 20 years. Her most well-known role is playing Kandi and Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva and Titans as well as Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. The actress is most famous for her roles in the roles of Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men and Drop Dead Diva, a comedy series that is a legal, fantasy drama and comedy. Her first job was modeling, then films and TV series. The first time she appeared was on small screen as an extra in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The show was followed by appearances in single episodes in other shows. In Two and a Half Men she was cast as Kandi. Bowlby has gained worldwide recognition for her role as Stacy Barrett, in the successful series Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl from Titans, an American online series Titans. The character will return as a spin-off of The Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby appeared in TV movies like Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Her big screen debut was in All Roads Lead Home. Later, she was in films such as The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. She was a student at East Union High School. She took ballet classes as well as French in Moorpark College before deciding to pursue an acting career. She studied drama at Ivanachubbuck, and was offered the role in a major TV series (Kandi) within three months of the conclusion of her Hollywood audition. Bowlby appeared in many TV shows including CSI in 2004. She also appeared on CSI: NY and CSI: NY in 2005. She also appeared on Freddie on the 2005 season as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 as Meg. Bowlby is currently playing the character Natasha (a 12 year-old girl) in All Roads Lead Home. The film centers around an accident which leads her to loss her mother. Bowlby plays Mia in the film The Slammin Salmon. Los Angeles is her home. She is naturally red-haired and has blue eyes. She is not married, and has no children.
